Terms of Service
These Terms govern your application to, and membership of, Hot Tottie (the "Club"), a private community for long/short traders. By applying or becoming a member you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
The Club is operated by Federico Mancuso, an individual resident in Panama, based in Panama City, Panama ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What the Club is, and what it is not
The Club is a members-only community where members discuss markets and analyse investments, share their own research and ideas, and join live calls. Everything in the Club is shared for informational and educational purposes only.
The Club is not an investment adviser, broker, fund or portfolio manager. We do not manage money, hold client funds, provide personalised investment recommendations, or sell trading signals. We do not guarantee, and nothing we say implies, any profit or performance. Content shared by members and hosts reflects their personal opinions only and is not investment, legal, tax or financial advice. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Trading involves substantial risk, and you can lose some or all of your capital.
3. Eligibility and admission
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. The Club is open to applicants from any country, subject to applicable law and sanctions.
- Admission is selective. Every application is reviewed by a person and includes a screening call. We may accept or decline any application without giving a reason.
- You must give accurate information in your application. Providing false information is grounds for removal.
- Payment and approval. Applying is free and requires no payment details. If we approve your application, we will email you a private payment link for the plan offered to you, and you pay only through that link, using our checkout provider, Whop. Payment alone does not give you a right to be admitted: if a payment is made without our approval, we will refund it in full. If we decline your application, you are not charged.
How access works. After your application is approved and paid, a member of our team will invite you to the Club's private Discord server, normally within one business day, and in any case within 24 hours of payment, including on non-business days. Access is granted manually, is personal to you, and cannot be shared or transferred. When your paid period ends without renewal, or if your membership is cancelled or refunded, we remove your access.
4. Plans, fees and taxes
- Founding membership: US$699 per year, available only to members of the Club's founding group, by invitation. Founding members keep this rate on renewal for as long as their membership stays continuously active. A founding member who leaves and later returns pays the then-current Standard price.
- Standard membership: US$1,199 per year, open to all approved applicants.
- Two-month trial: a one-time payment of US$99 for two months of access. The trial does not renew: after two months your access ends automatically and you are not charged again. To continue as a member you must purchase the Standard annual membership at the full price of US$1,199. The trial fee is not deducted from that price.
Prices are in US dollars. Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes. Where we are required to collect a tax, it is added to the price and shown at checkout before you pay. Where we do not collect a tax that applies to your purchase under your local law, you are responsible for it.
Payments are processed by Whop Payments ("Whop"), which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Whop's own terms apply to the payment, and your Whop receipt shows "Hot Tottie Annual Membership", and your card statement may show Whop as the merchant. We never see or store your full card details.
Annual memberships renew automatically every 12 months at the rate of your plan (for Standard members, the then-current Standard price) until you cancel. We will email you at least 14 days before each renewal with the amount and how to cancel, and at least 30 days before any price change, which applies from your next renewal. If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it remains unpaid, suspend or end your access.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel an annual membership at any time by managing your subscription in your Whop account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the year you have paid for.
- Annual memberships are refundable if you cancel and ask for a refund within 30 days of your first annual payment. After 30 days, annual fees are not refundable, including for unused months.
- The trial fee (US$99) is not refundable.
- These rules do not limit any refund or withdrawal right you have under mandatory consumer law, or refunds we owe you for duplicate or mistaken charges, or if we remove you without cause. Details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Member conduct
As a member you agree to:
- Treat other members respectfully and give honest, civil feedback.
- Not use the Club to sell products or services, solicit money or investments, recruit for third parties, or promote anything without our written approval.
- Not engage in or encourage market manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, insider trading, or any illegal activity.
- Disclose any position or conflict of interest when sharing an idea, where relevant.
- Not impersonate anyone or share another person's personal data.
- Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Respect the confidentiality rules in section 7.
We may warn, suspend, or remove any member who breaches these rules or whose behaviour we reasonably consider harmful to the community. If we remove you without cause, we refund the unused months of the current paid year, pro rata. If we remove you for a breach, particularly of section 7, no refund is due.
7. Confidentiality
The Club is private. All discussions, ideas, research, call content, shared files, and the identities of other members are confidential. You must not record, screenshot, copy, forward, publish or otherwise disclose them outside the Club, including on social media, other communities or messaging groups, without the permission of the person concerned and ours.
We will not publish identifiable member content outside the Club without that member's consent. Anything we show publicly (for example sample screenshots) is shown with the consent of the people involved and with member names hidden.
A breach of this section may lead to immediate removal without refund, and we may take further action where the law allows. We cannot guarantee that every member will keep to these rules, so please do not share information you would not be comfortable sharing in a group, such as sensitive personal or financial details.
8. Member content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting in the Club you give us and other members a limited, non-exclusive licence to view and use that content within the Club for the purpose of running the community. You are responsible for what you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
9. The Long/Short Terminal
The Long/Short Terminal is a separate software product built by a member and sold separately from membership. Club membership does not include it. Members may be offered a discount, but any purchase is a separate contract between you and the seller and is governed by the terms presented at that purchase.
10. Intellectual property
The Hot Tottie name, logo, website and materials belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Club and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that content is accurate, complete or suitable for you, and we are not liable for any trading or investment losses or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Club or reliance on anything shared in it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify members by email or in the community at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, and the courts of Panama City, Panama have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
